GGD AC Low Voltage Power Distribution Cabinet is suitable for power plants, substations, mining enterprises and other power users with an AC 50H, rated working voltage of 380V, and rated working current of 3150A in the distribution system. It is used for power conversion, distribution, and control of power, lighting, and distribution equipment.

The GGD AC Low Voltage Power Distribution Cabinet is designed in accordance with the requirements of the superior authorities of the Ministry of Energy, as well as the power users and design departments. It is based on safety, economy, rationality, and reliability A new low-voltage distribution cabinet designed based on the principle of. The product has the characteristics of high breaking capacity, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical solutions, convenient combination,various series, strong practicality, novel structure, and high protection level. It can be used as an updated product for low-voltage switchgear.

The GGD AC Low Voltage Power Distribution Cabinet complies with standards such as IEC439 "Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment" and GB7251 "Low Voltage Switchgear".


Service condition

● The ambient air temperature shall not be higher than +40 ℃,not lower than -5℃, and the average temperature within 24h shall not be higher than +35℃;

● For indoor installation and use,the altitude of the place of use shall not exceed 2000m;

● The relative humidity of the surrounding air does not exceed 50% when the maximum temperature is +40℃,and a larger relative temperature should be allowed at a lower temperature (e.g:90%at +20℃ ), taking into account the possibility of temperature changes will occasionally cause condensation effects;

● When the equipment is installed,the inclination to the vertical plane should not exceed 5°;

● The equipment should be installed in a place where there is no severe vibration, impact and corrosion;

● When the user has special requirements,it can be resolved through consultation with the manufacturer.

Main circuit solution

The main circuit of the GGD cabinet has 129 solutions designed with a total of 298 specifications (excluding solutions and specifications derived from changes in the function of the auxiliary circuit and changes in the control voltage).

Wherein GGD1 type 49 solutions are available of 123 specifications

GGD2 type 53 solutions are available of 107 specifications

GGD3 type 27 solutions are available of 68 specifications

The main circuit solution is selected by soliciting the opinions of the majority of design and user departments,and the solution required by the power plant has been added. The rated current is up to 3150A, suitable for the selection of distribution transformers of 2000kVA and below. In addition,GGJ1 and GGJ2 capacitor compensation cabinets are designed to meet the needs of reactive power compensation, with 4 main circuit solutions and 12 specifications in total.


Auxiliary circuit solution

The design of the auxiliary circuit is available of two parts solutions:the power supply plan and the power generation plant. There is enough space in the GGD cabinet to install the secondary components. At the same time,a special LMZ3D current transformer has been developed to meet the needs of power plants and special users when the attached relay protection is necessary.


Main bus

Considering the price ratio and the feasibility of replacing copper with aluminum,single aluminum buss can be used when the rated current is 1500A and below, and double copper buss are used when the rated current is greater than 1500A. The manufacturer will produce prototypes and do "pass"the type test according to this regulation. Of course, the manufacturer can also replace the aluminum bus with a copper bus of the same current carrying capacity as the users requires. The overlapping surfaces of the buss are all treated with tin enamelling process.


Selection of electrical components

(1)The GGD cabinet mainly adopts the more advanced electrical components that can be mass-produced in China. At the same time, it also retains some features of old products such as DZ10D,DZ20,etc.under the premise of fully considering the feasibility according to economic and reasonable principles. Obsolete products are not used any more.

(2)HD13BX and HS13BX rotary operation knife switch is a special component designed to meet the needs of the unique structure of the GGD cabinet.It changes the operation mode of the mechanism and retains the advantages of the old product. It is a practical new type of electrical components.

(3)The design department selects new electrical components with better performance and more advanced technology as users need, because the GGD cabinet has good installation exibility, it will generally not cause manufacturing and installation difficulties due to the updated electrical components.

(4)In order to further improve the dynamicstabilty of the main circuit, a ZMJ type combined bus clamp and insulating support for the GGD cabinet are designed.The bus clamp is made of high-strength,high name-retardant PPO alloy material,with high insulation strength,good self-extinguishing performance,and unique structure. It can be easily combined into a single bus clamp or a double bus clamp by adjusting the building block. The insulating support is a sleeve-type molded structure with low cost and high strength, which solves the defect of insufficient creepage distance of old products.
